Costa Mesa based label, RVCA is a clothing company with a visual art focus. Founded in 2006 by designer P.M. Tenore, RVCA produces a wide variety of clothing, including fitted baseball caps. RVCA is probably best known for its t-shirts featuring graphics from contemporary artists. Ed Templeton was the first artist to contribute graphics to the company.

RVCA maintains a close connection with skate, surf and grafitti culture, sponsoring both a skateboard and surf team as well as being involved with various art galleries. YOICHI MURATA of 7UNION caught up with STRICTLY FITTEDS and dropped news about their latest projects. 7UNION’s creative aim is to blur the line between urban/street wear and high end fashion.

The 7UNION’s 2007 style sheet includes 17 fitted baseball cap designs in multiple colorways. Production runs are strictly limited to less 100 pieces per style and color. Recent collaborations have included DJ JAZZY JEFF, DJ 45 KING and DJs HAUL & MASON. New 7UNION fitted caps will appear in select stores starting this August.

STRICTLY FITTEDS has obtained detailed shots of the upcoming GOODFOOT/GFTD x NEW ERA ICE CAPS. These 59Fifty fitted baseball caps are part of the limited edition GOODFOOTS ICE PACK, which features a matching cap and crewneck sweater. The ICE CAPS fitted comes in three colorways: Grey wool, Black and Green. These are being released next Saturday only at GOODFOOT stores throughout Canada.

TWELVEBAR has dropped a new fitted baseball cap collabo with ESTATE LA. The result is a sportex (jersey material) cap with an oreo sandwich brim and an embroidered tagline “IT’S ALL LOVE” at the rear. STRICTLY FITTEDS was invited to tour the showroom and get an peek of ROCAWEAR‘s upcomming fitteds. Here’s a teaser of what’s on the menu from the ROC this Spring/Fall in fitted baseball caps. The “R” has switched gears creatively. Pay close attention to that weathered madras fitted with gold paint details. Another unexpected twist is the fleece undebrim on the green plaid cap. These 59Fifty fitteds are heavily embroidered in a pattern of card suits (clubs, spade, hearts, diamonds), but the crowning glory is the portrait of our favorite face card.
