Months back, MEL D of VILLAGE SLUM introduced the world to the BIOWORLD liscensed SESAME STREET ‘ERNIE’ fitted cap. STRICTLY FITTEDS now proudly presents the starting line up from the series. ELMO, COOKIE MONSTER, ERNIE and OSCAR THE GROUCH made their way into fitted glory. Last year saw the debut of the very popular NEW ERA x ALIFE “Googly eyes” fitteds. These caps take the concept further, going from minimal to literal. The embroidery illustrates more of the SESAME STREET character’s features, extending beyond the front panels on to the brim. After having my childhood thrashed by the TRANSFORMERS movie (yeah-yeah, call me crazy), it’s good to see some things remain sacred. Call us some grown a$$ kids.

We’ve got a special space reserved on our shelf of glory for the OSCAR fitted. We rarely make predictions and we don’t gamble, but our money is on this fitted being the hood star of this Summer. Each character’s cap links up with a zippered jacket (lining pictured). Each cap is lined with a printed fabric featuring the repeating graphics of the character’s eyes. (Same as the jacket lining image.)
