This 100% cashmere NEW ERA 59Fifty cap is a nod in respect to the fedora, whose distinctive shape has been rocking since the late 1800s. The Fedora was made infamous by prohibition-era gangsters like Al Capone and became a class act with actors Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney. Many fashion historian credits JFK for pushing the fedora out of popular circulation (unlike former Presidents, John F Kennedy was rarely seen in a hat). SSUR presents the best of both worlds, mixing couture and street fashion. The SSUR Fedora fitted features an embroidered feather on one side panel and a tonal SSUR script logo on the other.
