Caviar is the Black Gold of the Caspian sea. The top quality eggs of the Sturgeon fish fetch insanely high prices and have long since been a staple of lavish lifestyles. SSUR‘s Caviar Cartel NEW ERA 59Fifty gives a taste of luxery in a fitted baseball cap. The highlights on this piece include Caviar Blue pin-stripe and satin underbrim on a cotton cap. The text CAVIAR CARTEL appears on the left and right sides in a raised metallic embroidery. An alternate colorway of Charcoal Gey with Silver metallic embroidery will be released as well. Look for these to drop early ’08 at SSUR’s flagship location and select accounts worldwide.
The CAVIAR CARTEL is also an animated series that is currently being developed by SSUR. The characters are much darker versions of well known fairly tales. Taking place in modern day Russia, the cast includes Volk(rabbit), Zayeets (wolf), Baba Fyenya (gramna thuggy), tri tolstiyee sveenee (3 fat pigs), Gryaznaya shlyapa (dirty rottenhood), Asitrina (sturgeon), Lasasina(lox) and a string of others make appearances.
