It might not come as a shock to some, but it did to us. The video arcade classic, Space Invaders turns 30 this year. The game was designed by Tomohiro Nishikado in 1978. The game was originally manufactured by Taito and licensed for production in the U.S. by the Midway division of Bally* Hold on to your joysticks, TAITO and NEW ERA have collaborated and birthed a collection of pixelated SPACE INVADERS characters embroidered on 59Fifty fitted ball caps. There are seven styles in the collection including over personal favorite, “GAME OVER”.

We’ll be dusting off the old Atari 2600’s while eating our way through a family sized box of Capt Crunch, reminiscing. Pardon any lapses in posting. Available at CAP COLLECTOR ONE and select NEW ERA accounts.
