You’re nobody until somebody bootlegs you and BAPE has a spawned whole seperate industry of bootleggers. We might be reaching here, but this seems ironic, considering that BAPE has made a ginormous amount of Yen biting off being directly inspired by other intellectual properties. Planet of the Apes? Nike? It looks like the brand has a shrewd sense of humor and is laughing all the way to the bank. We’re picking up 1/2 a dozen.
