LEROY JENKINS Fitted Caps

LEROY JENKINS speaks on Pedal Pushin’
You may remember LEROY JENKINS for their ornate floral print hoodies, which sold out at each release when launched in 2005. Since then, artists/designers Ron Upperman and Upendo Taylor have grown the line to consist of wovens, jeans, outerwear and fitteds. The same hand-selected floral fabric covers the fitteds and lines the cut-and-sew pieces in their collection today.
Though the brand has evolved, Leroy Jenkins has kept close ties with the manufactures from when they started. “ESTATE LA domestically manufactures the best quality caps, and are always willing to experiment with new techniques and ideas,” Upperman says of Estate LA. “Working with them allowed us to reinforce our floral motif by being the first to put out a fitted cap using hand selected fabric,” Taylor added.
LeRoy Jenkins designs for the versatile male with artistic sensibility, capable of or adapted for change. Offering head-to-toe pieces with an avant-garde approach, Leroy Jenkins allows you to explore, create and express yourself. Keep a look out for the fall 2008 collection, which takes inspiration from vintage collegiate sports to include leather caps with tonal embroidery – taking you from pushin’ petals to wearing medals.
