Japanese streetwear brand MASTERPIECE pulls inspiration from a nostalgic look at Hip Hop. Example: the brand’s “remix” of the infamous Phillies Blunt logo. Masterpiece’s NEW ERA 59Fifty program for their Spring 08 collection picks up some familiar patterns with an embroidered side script logo. Available at EPROZE and select Masterpiece accounts.
UNDEFEATED released this new UNDFTD New Era Fitted Cap. This 59Fifty features the Five Strikes logo repeated in a check pattern, in two colors – Black and White. Both of these fitted caps are available as online exclusives at UNDFTD’s e-store.

The term “mom and pop business” is a common expression for a single-family operated business with few (or no) employees other than the owners. Often dwarfed by the marketing power of larger retail chains, these independent shops often offer more personalized service and unique selections of goods. In the market of fitted ball caps, these small stores are typically closest to the core audience. Many have their own taste maker accounts, as is the case with NEW ERA where select shops can customize their own officially licensed fitted team branded caps or create original designs.

MISHKA’s upcoming Summer ’08 NEW ERA program includes some color way remixes of older styles and introduces several new models. The brand’s eclectic tastes are toned down for these releases, while maintaining their out the box vision.
This Saturday FITTED will be releasing the last custom UH New ERA 59Fifty Fitted cap. The UH fitted features two white panels in the front, the four back panels are green and the UH logo itself consists of silver with green and black strokes. As always, first come, first serve.
