G-Funk, or “Gangsta Funk”, emerged from West Coast Gangsta rap in the early ’90s. The G-Funk sound, dubbed by Warren G. (Dr. Dre’s brother) sampled Funk/Soul artists like Parliament, Funkadelic, the Ohio Players, the Meters, Fazo, Bootsie Collins and the late great Rodger Troutman (THE original Vocoder master). This fitted features a Black crown with ‘G-Funk’ embroidered in White on the front panels. The Green under visor features a Black screen print image of the legendary VIP record in Long Beach, California.
