Japan’s own LAFAYETTE has released their latest 59Fifty style, the “Logo” fitted cap. Straight forward and simple, the fitted features Layfayette’s text logo reproduced in embroidery on the front panels. There is a choice of five colorways: Green, Black, Red, Blue and Purple. They are available now and at their retail locations, the LAFAYETTE online store and authorized accounts.

FLYING COFFIN give preview to their NEW ERA 59fifty fitted cap for Fall 08. Keeping it simple, they created a new design using the initials of the company. The style will come in Black/Grey and Black/Purple. Expect this release in mid September at select Flying Coffin retailers.

We broke news on this drop months back. For all those that were unable to attend LAYFAYETTE’s 5th year Anniversary (Jun see you next year!), fear not. The second edition release of the DJCK x LAFAYETTE x NEW ERA 59Fifty has had a re-up. Available in Royal Blue and Black from sizes 7-1/4 to 8, at LAFAYETTE and their on-line store.
On a side note, for the crate digger in you, DJCK produced one of our favorite remixes, “READY OR NOT” (DJango Remix) for THE FUGEES. In case you didn’t know, that sample is the Modern Jazz Quartet. Milt Jackson on vibraphone. Need we say more?
Inspired by the upcoming Summer games, BTNC is set to release their Olympic Medal pack of NEW ERA 59Fifty fitteds. Each cap represents a different medal for the Olympics. During the times of the early Olympics games, the first-place athlete was awarded a wreath Olives as a crown. Second and third place had to be satisfied with the bitter aftertaste of defeat. Ouch.
These caps feature a solid Black bill and crown. The BTNC logo is embroidered on the front panels in either Gold, Silver or Bronze. (Fortunately you get to choose – no competition required.) On the back the roman numerals XXIX are sticthed, representing the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.
