Toronto Electronic music duo MSTRKRFT collaborates with New Era for a limited edition, custom-designed cap. Only 75 caps will be released on the market October 10th at the New Era New York Flagship launch event. Limited quantities will be available at New Era Toronto and online at www.neweracap.com

MSTRKRFT’s limited-edition cap is a part of New Era’s exclusive partnership with Microsoft Zune. As part of the partnership, New Era will create a podcast series that will be available exclusively on Zune Marketplace and New Era’s website for a limited time. To complement the release of each cap, Zune will produce a limited number of customized digital media players featuring the cap design.

MSTRKRFT (read as “Master-kraft”) is an electronic music group from Toronto (The Beaches), Ontario, Canada who are signed to Last Gang Records. The group was started in 2005 by Jesse F. Keeler formerly of Death from Above 1979 and Al-P (Alex Puodziukas) formerly of the Mississauga electropop group Girlsareshort. Al-P was also the producer for Death from Above 1979’s album You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine as well as several of (Jesse’s former band) Black Cat #13’s records. MSTRKRFT also produced Die Mannequin’s first EP, How to Kill, and Magneta Lane’s second LP, Dancing With Daggers.*
