Japanese street wear brand SWAGGER has recently collaborated with the legendary hip hop super group, D.I.T.C. (Diggin’ in the Crates Crew) for a collection of branded t-shirts and NEW ERA fitted baseball caps.
As individuals and a collective, members of the D.I.T.C. were instrumental to what is now classified as “90′s Hip Hop” scene. The term Diggin’ in the Crates is a reference to searching through milkcrates of old records for unique tracks to sample from. Many of the Diggin’ in the Crates Crew are triple treats; DJ, Producer, Emcee. Without the mainstream success of today’s “RingTone Era of Rap”, the D.I.T.C. has massed an impressive catalog of albums that could be called standards of New York Hip Hop. Founded by LORD FINESSE and DIAMOND D in the late 80′s, the crew grew to include members SHOWBIZ, A.G., BIG L (R.I.P.), FAT JOE, O.C., BUCKWILD and BIG PUN (R.I.P.). The D.I.T.C. have released 7 studio albums and 2 live releases.
