By now its pretty clear NEW ERA has no intention of slowing down their freshly acquired comics licenses. Frankly speaking, we’re not mad at all. Case and point would be this ultra limited fitted baseball cap release of MARVEL COMICS’ own Iron Man. Sure this is a bit late for Halloween and very much over-the-top, but we can’t deny this is one insane example of what can done when thinking outside the box. NEW ERA achieved the metallic sheen of Tony’s Starks power suit by using polyurethane vinyl. This cap SCREAMS for a pair of IDS, and take it from us - it won’t be left lonely for long. Until IRON MAN 2 hits theaters this will have its own space in the treasury. In our opinion, this is more of a trophy/conversation piece than a fitted for everyday wear. Now for all those with envy in their hearts, consult the closest NEW ERA flagship store near you before they all vanish. Word is that 144 pieces were produced. You do the math …
