In Japan the emcee ZEEBRA is regarded as one of the most popular, influential and controversial Hip Hop artists. His career as an artist began in 1993, when he was a member of the group King Giddra. The underground act reached mainstream success, speaking on social issues. After leading King Giddra to pursue a solo career in 1997, Zeebra has become a focal point of J-Hip Hop, making frequent media appearances.
