55DSL began as experimental line extension of Italian brand DIESEL. 15 years later it is a stand alone line selling men and woman’s clothes that bridge the gap between traditional and urban fashion. That being said, I’m rarely moved by what they create. Then there are those moments (like now) where they drop something that catches my eye. 55DSL’s Noize NEW ERA 59Fifty fitted basball cap gives flashbacks of 8-bit video game graphics, the Decepticon logo and Tron. Very 80′s pop and heavy on the stitch count with excellently executed gradient embroidery. For those that have more of an animated style it’s yours.
