June 2009′s cap of the month is one of those prized pieces that is both rare and stylish.
No Photoshop trickery here. You are looking at a very limited release fitted cap from NEW BALANCE and NEW ERA. Staying true to the design of their shoes, the iconic N is the same leather applique from their footware. The New Balance logo is embroidered on the back. If you need further convincing take a look at the tags: “NEW BALANCE headware by NEW ERA.” I’ve had an on again off again love affair with New Balance since I was a kid. This cap however leaves no room for doubt. Grade A fresh.
This deadstock gem was pulled from ECAP CITY’s archives. Originally released years ago, I caught the very last one in my size. Happy happy joy joy. We heard this was also available in Dark Green, but those were long gone. More images after the jump.
