The San Antonio Spurs were founded in 1967. Although the basketball franchise began in Dallas, it was has remained a Texas based team. During a special event last night at their New York Flagship Store, NEW ERA unveiled a new round of product from their Transformers license. Dubbed the TF3 Crew series, this line of 59Fifty fitted baseball caps took inspiration from behind the scenes of this blockbuster franchise. Each hat features unique graphic treatments, such as an embroidered sweatband, a special label on the interior and a logo hit on the back. The series includes three styles, Optimus Prime, Shockwave and the TF3 logo. At the moment these are NEW ERA Flagship Store exclusives, but if you are headed to the San Diego Comic Con this Summer these can also be found at Hasbro’s booth.

Previewed earlier this year, BOGART has finally dropped their U$A New Era 59Fifty fitted baseball caps. Available in a variety of colorways, the caps feature an American Typewriter font in raised embroidery. Here’s an unexpected mash up of materials from NEW ERA. This style of 59Fifty fitted baseball caps features both Denim construction on the crown and bill. The Cork details include the under bill and within the logo up team logo up front. For now the choice is limited to the Toronto Blue Jays and the LA Lakers. ANIMAL BIKES is back with another addition to their “OG” baseball series with a famous colorway that you may or may not recognize.  This 59Fifty was inspired by the colorway of the Philidelphia Major League Baseball team, the Phillies. It’s been a minute since the New York brand, GOLIATH, dropped some new fitted baseball caps. If you’ve seen Method Man and Redman’s music video for “A-YO”, these are the guys that made the “Ayo!” hat. Their style roots from the skateboarding and hip hop cultures of New York, and this time they return with another fitted baseball cap. This New Era 59Fifty is an addition of their previous release, and the difference is that the “Night” embroidery is similar to the Nike “Flight” font.  It features a Black base with a Red embroidered “Night” above a Black embroidered “AM” on the front panel.
