Certain looks call for killer confidence and sometimes a touch of meglomania. While many flee from White caps like the plague, I’ve learned to appreciated the high contrast pieces of my collection. Granted if you are ducking authorities or relatives / friends you owe money too this is clearly not the look for you. Go for a ghillie suit. Exhibit A is presented by the defense. This 1908 Chicago Cubs fitted baseball cap by American Needle is super clean. The two tone off White crown with Black bill, plays it cool, calm and casual. Out of the many iconic C logos in sports, the Cubs have always been a favorite. Simplistic and yet it carries the weight of a city on its back. Its been a minute since we’ve been moved by AMERICAN NEEDLE product. This release makes up for the wait. The AMERICAN NEEDLE MLB Pinstripes collection features vintage logos from the early teens and twenties of 1900’s. The choice of woven pinstripes and the muted colors are a nod back to the original team uniforms. The flat bill adds some now school flavor to the old school charm. If we can call a fitted baseball cap handsome, this would be it.
