Here’s another fine find from HUNT AUCTIONS. This is a classic piece of baseball history, specifically a vintage Pittsburgh Pirates Pro Model NEW ERA fitted baseball cap. This game worn piece is circa 1970-1972, attributed to the late great Roberto Clemente. The Player number “21″ written on the under bill. There is exceptional wear is throughout with sweat stains to interior band and very slight bend to the brim. According to the details in this auction this was originally obtained from Clemente after a game. This includes a Letter Of Authenticity from Hunt Auctions. Here’s a nice little gem I found on Ebay, the SUPREME x PUBLIC ENEMY fitted. The cap of course features an almost all Black tonal design with the Public Enemy logo on the front, “FIGHT THE POWER” on the side and the Supreme box logo on the back. An even nicer touch is that the cap still comes with the tag, I may need to cop this for myself! If you want it now, go cop it at up2disky’s store before I cop it. …+MORE

In January 2008, Japan-based APPLEBUM released their Babylon View New Era 59Fifty fitted baseball cap which featured the Applebum logo atop a nocturnal cityscape. The cap sold out instantly making it a holy grail amongst cap collectors. Almost 3 1/2 years later, the cap has barely surfaced on reseller markets, even in Japan.

Major Leaguer Mark Eugene Grace, collected more hits during the ’90s than any other player. His professional debut was May 2nd, 1988. In his career he played for 16 seasons with the Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks. A four-time Gold Glover, Grace was a lifetime .303 hitter and four-time All-Star. Pictured here in this auction from LELANDS is a game used cap and issued glove. This cap worn by the lefty first-baseman is a New Era size 7 1/4″ and shows nice use. Number 17 is visible in marker under the brim and Grace’s signature is also present. The glove is a professional model A2800 Wilson first baseman’s mitt and is signed by Grace, though there is no sign of use. “MARK GRACE” is embroidered on the thumb.
