STARTER x NHL Penguins Fitted Baseball Cap

Pittsurgh, Pennslvania has got a lot of Yellow and Black in its blood. Across the board the town has a lot of history with that color combo; from Baseball, Football to Hockey. The “Robo Penguin” as he was affectionately called, was designed the Vance, Wright & Adams Design Group. The modernized look debuted in 1992 to much skepticism. The graphic consists of the top half of a penguin in motion on a Yellow triangle. The triangle in the logo refers to the three rivers that intersect in Pittsburgh; Monongahela, Allegheny and Ohio. I’m not much for hockey and I was born in Philly, but this is still one my all time favorite sports logos. Pictured here is a dead stock STARTER Penguins fitted cap in all its glory. Although there’s aren’t as popular as their snap-back cousins, it’s nice to have something rare in the collection. Our passionate plea is that you remove the damn tags before you wear it.
