AF-1 aficionado, THE MAYOR (1000+ Air Forces Strong / Heir To The Throne) has his debut in our Well Worthy feature with a story to tell. In his own words, he explains this bespoke Nike Air Force 1 and NEW ERA fitted baseball cap connection. Sit back, relax and take notes.

“With 17 Bespokes created this was one of my toughest challenges, but there is a method to my madness. There is a conventional way to do Bespokes which consists of picking out your materials, sitting with a designer and bringing your creation to life. Me, I work backwards- I walk straight into the studio, sit at the computer, glance over at the materials, close my eyes for a few minutes and I normally come up with a hit. With this particular shoe, I was stuck. I spend two appointments which is about two hours each to drum up a shoe with no luck.” - THE MAYOR

Now that this meeting of Fitteds and Kicks Addicts Anonymous has begun, please allow me to introduce myself as Feets Malone. Bespoke is defined as being made to the order of the individual. With so many choices to choose from it was only “fitting” that I take materials that hadn’t been used and create something so simple and intricate at the same time that reflected my personality. The fitted baseball cap, the Washington Senators comes from one of Clark’s favorite hat spots (shout to Clark “the Originator”) and was inspired by my desire to complete my Bespoke Air Force I. Let’s look at what makes this combo Well Worthy!

The Dark Green / Orange custom SF New Era Fitted. Yes. This came from my secret fitted shop (best ever). I hooked it up with a pair of custom Dark Green / Orange / Yellow Nike ID Air Force 1’s. I threw in Yellow because I thought it was Simply Fire! SF = Strictly Fitteds = Very WELL WORTHY !!!!

SIDEBAR : this is in NO way a sign of disrespect to San Francisco. How could I ? Barry Bonds & Jerry Rice played there!!!! (LEGENDS) … and, NO it isn’t, in any way, disrespecting Street Fam: Fabolous, Red Cafe, Paul Cain, Freck Billionaire, Ransom & Joe Buddens. Its Summertime! One of my favorite colors to rock in the Summer is Green..
What better way to get the Green off than with the Kelly Green “CK” (yeah I know its KC / Kansas City- but this is MY post) custom New Era. I found this incredible cap in Japan at a place named “FAMES” (a must visit if you get over there. They got super HEAT). I pair this with Nike ID Air Force 1’s, in the White Patent / White Premium Leather / Kelly Green Swoosh & Midsole / Gum Bottom color way. Then I threw in the Mi Gente “Suck My Kicks” T-Shirt - NICE! So bring on the good weather, BBQ’s and vacations, its summertime again. You can hate me whenever you are ready, or let’s just say you are GREEN with envy! HAHA!

GUCCI. The Classic! Yes, that about sums it up. This is definitely one of my Top 5 fitted caps. The Black/Gold/Red/Dark Green Crooks & Castle Gucci Link Chain C hat. Wow! Put that together with my Gucci inspired Nike Air Force 1 ID’s. add the Gucci color way, “Its Gotta Be Mi Gente” T-Shirt, And finish the package off with the Gucci fused Crooks & Castle Backpack, just to carry it all!. WHEW, that’s A LOT of Gucci! In other words, that’s a lot of HEAT! If I have to say any more than that, you might need counseling. Hahaaa!

First, pardon me for being away so long. I’ve been all over the world doing my one-two thing. (I am a DJ remember?!?!) With that said… “Once again back its the incredible!”

Imagine having a pair of kicks sitting around for months trying to find a perfect NEW ERA fitted. That’s exactly the case with these Black Patent / Black Leather / Silver Swoosh / Pink Midsole Nike Air Force 1 ID’s. I made them last November. I searched for months to find the fitted that made sense. I found it at my favorite fitted shop (I will keep that store name & address a secret). The custom Black / Pink / Silver Buffalo Sabers New Era. SICK - and VERY Well Worthy!!! I’m done!
