UNIWATCH happens to be one of our favorite blogs for all things related to sports uniforms and design. They recently ran a post about an rare San Diego Padres baseball cap that was worn during the ‘72 season. The twist is the wide-spanning Yellow panel on the front panels. Several readers from the era commented on the rare style, sparking a full on historical mystery. Hardcore Padres fan Robert Walker offered: “That cap was only used in ’72, only on Sundays, and (from what I have found) only for home games.” UNIWATCH is currently on a fact finding mission to confirm the statement. VANS teams up with New Era once again, this time to produce the Addler fitted caps. These set of caps are plaid based. They come in a Yellow, Blue, and a Green colorway. A Vans logo is embroidered on the bottom right corner of the front panel of the hat and features a small Vans logo embroidered on the back of the hat. These hats are now available online at www.vans.com and select Vans accounts.

IBN JASPER teams up with QUINTIN CO. for another fitted 5 panel cap. This one is a grey version and is very reminiscent to the Grey Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Jasper shoe. The hat features a grey quilted suede and a tassel on the bill of the cap. No word on a release date yet, but stay tuned for more info.
