1938 Concord Weavers 8-Panel Fitted Cap by EBBETS FIELD FLANNELS

The Carolina League operated as an outlaw league. They were not members of the National Association, and did not play by their rules. Many Carolina League teams were affiliated with local textile mills.  To attract players, many mills would hire them to "no-show" positions at their factories. Minor league players from organized baseball would often moonlight with Carolina League teams under aliases to make extra cash. Pictured here is an authentic reproduction of the 1938 Concord Weavers, who competed in the Carolina league. This is a 8-Panel silhouette, features a Royal Blue fabric for the crown and bill. The button is Red. A stylistic C appears on the front in a two-tone felt. Catch this online at  www.ebbets.com
