Red White Red Rayon Braid Fitted Cap by IDEAL CAP CO.
Although the use of the braid on baseball caps is rooted back into the 19th century, the tri-colored banded braids, had an extremely limited run. The style originated in marching bands, they were used liberally on the baseball uniform shirt and pants. The tri-band cap accent first debuted with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1926. It progressed in the 1940’s, and was extinct by 1950. Shown here is a Red White Red Rayon Braid Fitted Cap produced by IDEAL CAP CO.
